About
Hi, I'm Cecilia James
I began my interior design career as a co-founder of Refreshed Spaces in 2019, where my partner and I built a high-volume residential design firm serving clients across the Atlanta area and extensively at Lake Oconee. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects—from full-home renovations to thoughtfully layered furnishings—always with an emphasis on livability, detail, and timeless design.
As my career evolved, I felt called to create a studio that more fully reflected my personal design voice and approach. In 2025, I launched Cecilia James Interiors, allowing me to work more closely with clients and take on projects that align with my values, process, and aesthetic.
I believe the best spaces are created through trust, collaboration, and a clear vision. My goal is to guide clients through the design process with clarity and confidence—so they feel supported every step of the way.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy time with family, working out and staying active, and finding inspiration in travel. Merely scratching my must travel list, so far I have visited 38 countries with plans of many more on the horizon.
A Thoughtful, Personal Approach
Every project begins with listening. Understanding your lifestyle, your priorities, and the story you want your home to tell allows me to design with clarity and purpose. From layout and flow to color, texture, and finishes, every decision is intentional — chosen to enhance both form and function.
Whether refreshing a single room or styling a full home, my goal is always the same: to create a space that feels cohesive, welcoming, and unmistakably yours.
Timeless Design, Lived In
Trends come and go, but thoughtful design endures. I gravitate toward interiors that feel layered, comfortable, and quietly refined — spaces that invite you in and stand the test of time. My work blends classic foundations with fresh details, resulting in homes that feel current yet lasting.
Clients appreciate her eye for detail, her ability to see the full picture, and her gift for creating spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal.
